The Belgian Business Rules Forum aims at raising awareness of the Business Rules Approach among practitioners in the Belgian market.
Information architectures must flexibly support business processes that at the same time are compliant to the internally defined policies of the business and externally imposed regulations the business has to observe. To achieve flexibility and compliance, we need a more declarative approach in the modeling and automation of business information systems, processes and services. In achieving this goal, business rules play a leading role. |

Fiscus begrijpt het zelf niet meer - zaterdag 17 februari 2007 De Belgische fiscaliteit is zo ingewikkeld dat de fiscus er zelf niet meer aan uit kan. Driekwart van de belastingcontroleurs vindt de wetgeving te complex.
Dat het gros van de burgers zijn weg niet meer vindt in onze fiscaliteit, is al lang geen geheim meer. Jaar na jaar neemt het aantal regeltjes toe. Tegelijk groeit de lijst uitzonderingen explosief, net zoals de uitzonderingen op de uitzonderingen.

70% van de ICT-investeringen Financiële sector besteed aan aanpassingen regelgeving - dinsdag 5 december 2006Uit een onderzoek van Febelfin, de koepelfederatie van de Belgische financiële bedrijven, blijkt dat maar liefst 70% van de ICT-investeringen aangewend worden om de bancaire systemen aan te passen aan nieuwe regelgeving zoals BASEL II, MiFID, SEPA... Dat betekent ook dat niet meer dan 30% van het budget beschikbaar is voor bedrijfseigen innovaties.
