The Belgian Business Rules Forum aims at raising awareness of the Business Rules Approach among practitioners in the Belgian market.

Information systems must flexibly support business processes that at the same time are compliant to the internally defined policies of the business and externally imposed regulations the business has to observe. To achieve flexibility and compliance, we need a more declarative approach in the modeling and automation of business information systems. In achieving this goal business rules play a leading role.
